Recognized expertise
Opera a Palazzo started the French version of Musica a Palazzo, creator of immersive operas for more than ten years in Venice, whose founders convey the soul of this unique experience to the artistic team. This version, recently presented at the Hotel Dosne-Thiers in Paris, won The Argus Angel Award.
The costumes come from the famous Atelier Nicolao, a Venetian artisan company which, since 1980, has created historical costumes and dresses for important film productions, as well as Lyric Opera in Chicago, the New National Theater in Tokyo, and the Teatro La Fenice in Venice.
The cast features outstanding artists performing in major lyrical productions.

Ben Woodward - Directeur musical
Ben est chef d'orchestre, pianiste, coach vocal et arrangeur britannique. Il a étudié à la Chetham's School of Music, a été organiste au Trinity College de Cambridge et a suivi le cours d'opéra de la Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Il a travaillé au Staatsoper Hannover, au Musiktheater im Revier, Gelsenkirchen et au Schleswig-Holsteinisches Landestheater à Flensburg, où il a dirigé plus de 20 représentations au cours des deux années qu'il y a passées. Son répertoire comprend Salomé, Le Chevalier à la rose, Arabella, La femme sans chapeau, Le Dialogue des carmélites, Peter Grimes, Falstaff, Otello, Don Carlo, Simon Boccanegra, L'Hélène égyptienne, Jenůfa, Elektra, Hänsel et Gretel, Le lutin, Le Chanteur et le cycle complet du Ring.
A graduate of the CRD de Pantin and the Schola Cantorum where he had Nadine Denize as his teacher, Benoît Gadel began his career with bass roles such as Colline (La Bohème, Puccini), Zuniga (Carmen, Bizet) and Ramfis (Aida, Verdi). His ease in the treble allows him to orient himself little by little towards the baritone repertoire. He performs Escamillo de Carmen, Don Giovanni, Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro) and Guglielmo (Così fan tutte). Taking on the characters of Rossini, Verdi and Ravel, Benoît distinguished himself in the baroque repertoire of Purcell, Monteverdi and John Blow and made some forays into the operetta. At the concert, he is regularly invited to perform the sacred works of Bach and Mozart but also Charpentier, Fauré, Saint-Saëns, Dvořák or Brahms. The next roles that await the baritone are Zurga in The Pearl Fishermen by Bizet or Silvio in Pagliacci by Leoncavallo.

Violetta - Emilie Rose Bry - Soprano
Winner of numerous competitions, the Franco-American soprano Emilie Rose Bry is a harpsichordist and flautist by training. After singing studies at the CRR in Paris and at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, she joined the CNIPAL in 2013. As a soloist, she has already sung on several continents, performing at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Theater an der Wien in Vienna, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Cairo Opera in Egypt, and the Opera of Lyon in France (to name a few!) On stage, she performs a vast repertoire from Monteverdi (L’Incoro-nazione di Poppea) to Bizet (Carmen) via Vivaldi, Handel (Rinaldo) Haydn or Rossini (L’Italiana in Algeri). Emilie performs regularly in concert with the Matheus Ensemble and its conductor Jean-Christophe Spinosi. In the coming seasons, she will sing Mozart at the Toulon Opera and at the Enescu Festival in Bucharest and Bach at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées.
Alfredo - Christophe Poncet de Solages - Tenor
It was through the study of the piano that the tenor Christophe Poncet de Solages approached music. With his diploma from the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris in hand and passion for singing, he went abroad to improve his skills. With a pronounced talent for languages, he explores a vast repertoire that ranges from baroque to contemporary music, both opera and concert. His solid musical training allows him to interpret both Bach evangelists and roles of Wagner and Richard Strauss. Fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, German and Russian, he has sang in stage works by Britten, Dvořák, Janáček, Moussorgski, Mozart, Stravinsky, Verdi and French composers such as Offenbach, Poulenc or Bizet. Christophe has already performed at the Opéra national de Lorraine, Lyon and Toulon as well as at the Grange Festival (Carmen) and the Szeged Festival where he played the title role of Oedipus rex.
Guglielmo: Christian Andreas (baryton)
Aussi à l'aise sur les scènes de concert que d'opéra, Christian Andreas est loué pour sa "voix de baryton remarquable et remarquablement concentrée" (PAMINA Online-Magazin).
Depuis ses débuts professionnels en 2013 en tant que soliste dans la Passion selon saint Matthieu de Bach sous la direction d'Helmuth Rilling au Teatro del Lago au Chili, il s'est produit à travers l'Europe, l'Asie et les Amériques, notamment au Festspielhaus de Baden-Baden dans L'Italiana in Algeri ("Käpt'n Bone") de Rossini en 2016.
Il a rejoint l'école internationale d'opéra du Royal College of Music pour des représentations des Mamelles de Tirésias de Poulenc (Presto) et de La petite renarde rusée de Janacek (Harasta) au Britten Theatre de Londres en 2017.
L'année suivante, il se produit avec le Royal Philharmonic Orchestra au Cadogan Hall de Londres, l'Orchestra di Padua e del Veneto en Italie et au Verbier Festival en Suisse, où il chante Il Conte di Monterone dans Rigoletto de Verdi.
En 2019, il fait ses débuts à l'opéra aux États-Unis dans le rôle de Papageno dans Die Zauberflöte de Mozart à l'Aquilon Music Festival, dans l'Oregon. Depuis septembre 2019, il est membre de l'International Opera Studio à l'Opéra national de Lyon en France.
Christian Andreas est titulaire d'un Master of Music en interprétation vocale du Royal College of Music de Londres, et d'un Bachelor of Music en interprétation d'opéra et pédagogie vocale de la Hochschule für Musik de Karlsruhe.
Ferrando: Dominic Walsh (ténor)
Le ténor australien Dominic J. Walsh habite ses personnages et trouve sur scène un magnétisme rare, avec une voix d'une grande beauté, concentrée et raffinée.
Originaire du Queensland rural, Dominic se produit au Royaume-Uni et en Australie depuis 2009. Il s'est produit avec l'English Touring Opera (printemps 19, 18, 17, 15), Opera North (18), Scottish Opera (16), Opera Queensland (17, 09-12), le Wexford Festival (15), Nevill Holt Opera (15, 13) et Garsington Opera (14).
Fin 2019, Dominic s'est éloigné des chœurs d'opéra pour se concentrer sur sa carrière solo. Depuis, il a fait des débuts réussis dans les rôles de Cavaradossi dans Tosca et Alfredo Germont dans La Traviata pour Opera Brava, Don Alvaro dans La Forza del Destino pour Regents Opera ainsi que Rodolfo dans La Boheme pour Outreach Opera et Glyndebourne Education.
Dominic aime également la comédie et l'opérette et a interprété le rôle de Nanki-poo dans The Mikado pour le State Opera of South Australia ('19), le Scottish Opera ('16) et l'Opera Queensland ('12).
